Yamamoto Brewery, a sake brewery with roots dating back over 300 years, is nestled in Gojo City, Nara Prefecture along the historic road connecting Ise in Mie Prefecture with Kishu in Wakayama Prefecture.With its well-preserved historic streetscape, you can take a leisurely stroll and immerse yourself in the past. Our flagship sake is known as Matsunotomo, and the brewery utilizes pristine spring water sourced from the depths of Mount Kongo for its brewing process. Nara Prefecture is a major producer of persimmons, and Yamamoto Brewery is dedicated to creating unique products like persimmon wine and persimmon sweet sake using locally grown persimmons.
