Perfect for baseball fans! The "Kattobashi" chopstick series is made from broken bats.
It is said that around 200,000 wooden baseball bats are consumed each year in professional baseball. These chopsticks are created by repurposing broken bats and scrap wood left over from bat production.
Additionally, the primary material, the Ash tree, takes 60 to 70 years to grow large enough to be used for bats.
The manufacturer, "Hyōzaemon," donates a portion of the sales of these chopsticks to the Ash Tree Resource Development Association, contributing to the planting and nurturing of Ash trees, which will eventually produce new bats.
Enjoy a drink while watching the game with chopsticks featuring your favorite team's logo—it's a perfect way to celebrate the sport!
