A new addition to the popular Indigo Dye Series from the Bushu Shōai Dyeing in Saitama, paired with traditional textiles from various regions of Japan.
The main blade (large side) features Bushu Shōai Dye, while the small blade (narrow side) is made with traditional Japanese weaves.
Indigo dyeing can sometimes cause concerns about color transfer. However, by incorporating textile weaving into the parts of the tie that come into contact with the shirt, such as around the neck and chest, we’ve solved that problem. This collaboration brings together techniques from different regions, combining Saitama’s indigo dyeing with traditional textiles from across Japan.
