In this private experience in Tsu, the capital city of Mie, you'll step into a very particular farm in Mie that harnesses technology to optimize its traditional rice production process. Here, you'll meditate at a historical temple, stroll through the village, meet locals, and enjoy a mouthwatering lunch of onigiri rice balls with Matsusaka beef, red sea bream from Ise and miso soup, polish and cook rice in a Japanese rice workshop, and more.

Your host, Takeshi, is not just a rice farmer but a passionate innovator who uses his background in technology to develop unique rural practices. While completing his graduate studies at Mie University, Takeshi works on his farm and welcomes guests from around the world. He aims to introduce the charms of the Japanese countryside through tours that combine cultural exchange, technology, gastronomy and enjoyment.
