Originally built in 1583 by Hideyoshi Toyotomi; a legendary feudal lord and military leader who played a pivotal role in the unification of Japan during the late 16th century. You’ll tour the castle grounds, explore the interior, enjoy panoramic city views from the top, and admire its impressive stone walls and moat.
Next, soak up the energy of Kuromon Market, a century-old marketplace offering a wide array of fresh produce, seafood, and street food. Here, we’ll see and taste the market delights to tide you over until a heatier lunch later on. Afterward, experience the dazzling neon lights and diverse dining options of Dotonbori, followed by some shopping in the bustling Shinsaibashi district.
Lunch will be a delectable experience at a restaurant tailored to your dietary preferences; we know the best Halal-certified and vegetarian-friendly spots in town! After lunch, we’ll make our way to Umeda by subway and step back in time at the Osaka Museum of Housing and Living. This unique museum offers insights into Japan's housing history through dioramas and models, transporting you to different eras with varying lighting effects. You can even try on a kimono at an affordable price!
As the day concludes, we'll ensure your comfortable return to your hotel.
