At Gensaka Sake Brewing, which revived the legendary sake rice known as "Isenishiki," you can hear directly from the 7th generation about their dedication to and characteristics of local sake brewing. You will also have the opportunity to tour the sake brewery and the environment where the sake rice is cultivated, as well as participate in a tasting. Following the brewery tour, visit Hinakaya, where you will appreciate the lovely traditional rural landscape and the ambiance of a Japanese-style house. Customers with a pronounced scent of perfume, cologne or occasionally fabric softener will not be allowed on brewery tours. We also request that you avoid eating or drinking fermented food products, including natto, kimchi, yogurt and koji, the day before or on the day of your visit.
