Experience a private yoga session on a rock in Owase
In Owase, you can enjoy a unique time and space just for you to do yoga on a rock. Become one with nature in a private yoga session on top of "Hachijoiwa (9 m × 12 m)," a large rock at the foot of Mt. Tengukura, the symbol of Owase. We will practice simple poses with the goal of relaxing through yoga. So, even yoga beginners can enjoy themselves. The plan also includes a 30-minute one-way short trek from the trailhead to Iwayado. An Owase therapist will guide you with a walking technique that minimizes strain on your body. The "Iwayado," a sacred site at the foot of Mt. Tengukura introduced in the "Saigoku Sanjūsansho Meisho Zue" (an Edo period guidebook), is a spiritual power spot where the main deity and thirty-three Kannon statues are enshrined, protected by massive rocks. Support will be provided by 2 specialists, a yoga instructor and an Owase therapist guide (healthy walking instructor).
