"Kagamibiraki" and "komodaru sake barrels" are a must for celebrations and other events, and a symbol of traditional sake culture. Learn about the history and production process of these komodaru barrels from our staff. After you come to know the history and have gone on a workshop tour, join a kagamibiraki ceremony and an activity where you will create your own original mini komodaru barrel. [Mini komodaru production method] In the komodaru-barrel painting experience, you will draw pictures on the straw matting with a marker. Afterward, the artisans will finish the komodaru barrel.
