Guided Tea Plantation Walking
Don't miss this program where you tour tea plantation sights if you're planning on stopping by Wazuka-cho. With tea plantations and work as a way of life, Wazuka is also a member of "the Most Beautiful Villages in Japan" Association. Encounter tea plantations just a short distance away. The "Ryokusen course," where you spend an hour touring tea fields enveloped by greenery, the most famous mountain-like tea fields, "Tea Plantations in Ishitera," and the almost patchwork-like "Tea Plantations in Erihara," are just a few of the many attractions. Select the course that works best for you, whether it is a short stroll or a vigorous walk. All the while, you will be led by a guide who will share stories about tea and the history of the town of Wazuka.
