Experience a 100-year-old traditional house and cook on an okudo-san (kamado), a type of wood-burning stove
You will add wood to the stove to cook rice, make miso soup, and serve the food. You can also try roasting tea leaves over charcoal in a hibachi (brazier) to make hojicha (roasted green tea), experiencing life as it was long ago. After your meal, lie on the tatami, listen to the birds and insects, or take a leisurely stroll in the garden or around the neighborhood. Soak up the unique atmosphere and scenery of a countryside house.
