Iya Vine Bridge Crossing Ticket (Iya, Tokushima)
Iya-no-kazurabashi ("Suspension Bridge Made with Vines") in Nishiiya Village, Miyoshi City, is famous as one of Japan's three most unusual bridges. The bridge is made from around five tons of hardy kiwi vines, which are replaced every three years. The area is now well-developed, allowing access by large buses and private cars. But it was once a remote and secret place reachable only by passing along cliff paths. The bridge creaks and sways with each step, offering a thrilling experience! Stop off at nearby attractions such as the sparkling clear Iya River and Biwa Waterfall to experience the majestic natural beauty of the area. Length 45 m / Width 2 m / Height above water surface 14 m. (Designated by the Japanese government as an important tangible folk cultural property)
