Tanuki painting expereience
This facility sells Shigaraki ware, made at one of the Six Ancient Kilns of Japan. It also offers a pottery making experience. Shigaraki ware often features animals associated with good luck such as tanuki (raccoon dogs), frogs and owls, making it perfect for souvenirs. New facilities have been added, including a barbecue area where you can enjoy Omi beef, one of Japan's three most famous beef varieties, and a café where you can try your hand at making a Mont Blanc!
