Shirasaki Coast: Experience making sushi rolls at a retro Showa-era fishing port

Experience Japanese culture at a retro Showa-era fishing port near the Shirasaki Coast, known as the "Aegean Sea of Japan." This activity gives you a rare chance to learn how to prepare fish, cutting it yourself and enjoying it as sushi or sashimi. Meet and mingle with local fishermen and housewives of Yura Town, Wakayama Prefecture, and learn from their many years of experience with the sea.
