Tour Kinomatsushima Island

Tour Kinomatsushima Island

This 17-kilometer section of the Kinomatsushima coastline around Katsuura Harbor contains beauty formed by nature, with islands of various sizes dotting its azure seas. Among them are the most scenic spots of Nanki: Camel Rock, Lion Island, Crane Island with caves and Yamanari Island, where Taira no Koremori, vice-admiral, who was once defeated in the Battle of Yashima, is said to have committed suicide by diving into the sea.
