Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens & Ropeway
A resort facility with excellent access, located close to downtown Kobe and the Kitano Ijinkan. It is one of Japan's largest herb gardens, featuring twelve themed areas with around 75,000 plants from about 200 species blooming throughout the year. The Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway, which connects to the Herb Garden, offers a 10-minute aerial view of the city of Kobe. At about 400 meters above sea level, you can enjoy lunch in a setting of old European-style castle streets. This includes an outdoor market and a restaurant that serves colorful dishes inspired by the herb garden. You can enjoy tea time at the scenic cafe lounge and terrace, which merges the feel of old Kobe Western houses with a modern cafe. Spend a luxurious day lounging in the hammocks that are hanging throughout the grounds. Throughout the seasons, you can enjoy creating special memories in various locations enhanced by herbs and flowers. During nighttime hours, you can enjoy the sparkling Kobe night view and the illuminated space.
