“Meet, eat, and experience” pudding making with locals in the hot spring town “Yumura”
Yumura Onsen is among Japan's few hot spring baths drawn from a spring at the perfect temperature – 98°C – and has used one hot water pool called the "Ara-yu" or "rough water" to boil vegetables since ancient times. Enjoy a walk through this quiet, relaxing hot spring village, experience boiling eggs and puddings in the Ara-yu pool and konjo-yaki (large griddle) cooking at the "Oba-cafe" or "old lady cafe."
