Located in Nara Prefecture's Yoshino region, Odaigahara is one of the world's rainiest places with annual rainfall levels of over 3,000 mm. Located close to, yet far away from, the nearest station (Yamatokamiichi Station on the Kintetsu Yoshino Line) at about 1.5 hours travel time away, this location gets you far away from the bustling city. This natural course is typical of the Kansai region, with mossy forested roads, overflowing mountain streams, and more. The region is particularly beautiful with autumn foliage and when flowers bloom in spring.
