Sudate fishing experience
Sudate fishing (or "brush weir" fishing) is a method of catching fish from nets set up for extended periods in the shallows of the sea. It is an ancient, simple method of fishing that uses the ebb and flow of the tides, making a net that opens with the high tide's flow to draw in fish, then closes when the tide goes out to confine the fish alive. Participants can then enter with nets to scoop up and catch fish. This experience plan is the first of its type in West Japan, and is only possible in a location like Hannan, with its shallows along the edge of Osaka Bay! Enjoy the fishing experience, then a fisherman's lunch. You can also keep everything you catch.
