Taiji Whale Museum
A facility that combines museum-like elements showcasing the history, culture, and ecological data of whaling with aquarium-like elements displaying live marine animals. It holds whale and dolphin shows, which are rare in Japan. There are also hands-on events such as feeding activities and kayak adventures (for a fee), providing opportunities to learn about whales through all five senses. The Marinarium marine aquarium features a tunnel tank where dolphins and whales can be observed from various angles. The tunnel tank has become a social media sensation for its enchanting photos, gaining popularity among the younger generation. The facility is suitable for families, couples, friends, and solo visitors. This product includes a ticket for a hands-on feeding activity. Participants can observe the inside of a whale's mouth, including its teeth, up close as it eagerly awaits its food.
