Try it once, and you'll be hooked! Sandboarding is gathering a following. There's nothing quite like it! The sport of sandboarding originated in Western Australia, which is covered in expansive deserts. Run a board across the sand and satisfy your need for speed! The exhilaration of flying down a steep, 30 degree slope is creating a new wave of adrenaline junkies! People are coming from all over Japan to enjoy this sport. Let's go wild on these golden slopes! / Standard sand sleds are made for two people. If two participants use a two-person sand sled together, their price comes out to 5,000 yen per pair, which is a great deal! Experience sledding down a sand dune! Going down steep slopes of 30 degrees, you get the same invigorating thrill as when you fly down a steep road on a bicycle, as fast as you can. You can ride sand sleds in pairs. Parents can slide with children, and girls can slide in pairs as well. There are no age restrictions, and anyone can get started with ease. Slide to your heart's content with the beautiful views of the Sea of Japan before you. Sliding in pairs is only allowed for girls/women sliding with other girls/women, or children ages 9 or younger sliding with a parent. Individuals and pairs ages 10 or older must ride a sandboard.
