This is a career education program/experiential SDGs tour for young people who are the future. In the classroom, you will learn from the wisdom of those who live in the town in the traditional landscape of Tambasasayama over a 2-night and 3-day journey. Local residents who make their living through environmental stewardship by supporting the traditional rural landscape by "Farming," "Mountains" and "Villages." This land is home to a way of life that blends farming, forestry, and other mountain work. Encountering an awareness of sustainability passed down through the generations will enable visitors to get a sense of how to go about their lives in the future and how to create sustainable societies and economies and apply it to the future. With the "Farming Program," you will participate in structural seating learning about traditional landscapes, and then you will learn about the agriculture for preserving this and actual harvest agricultural products. In the "Mountains Program," you will enter mountains that connect to fields, and learn about the mechanism for supporting the traditional landscape with forestry. Afterward, you will use the wood that was cut down and make a bowl, and then learn about the bounty of adding trees to you everyday life. With the "Village Program," make dinner with the mothers in the village. Then, go for a morning walk around the village, and learn how the village came to be. Here you will find insight that will shake up your perspective and contribute to a lifetime of learning.
