Experience World Heritage Sites & Japanese Heritage Sites with a guide - Kumano Kodo Konosaka

Part of the Nakahechi Route taken by pilgrims making the journey from Kumano Hayatama Taisha to Kumano-Nachi Taisha. We’ll pay our respects to Prince Hama of the Kumano-99 Princes, spend a short while at Ojigahama to gaze at the beautiful Kumano-Nada Sea, and make our way to the Koyazaka Slope entrance. Moss-covered stone steps, leafy trees and the open sea. The Whale Mountain Trail, named for the historic whaling activities of the area, is dotted with observation decks.
