At 2,161 meters in length in total, this ropeway up Mt. Gozaisho reaches an elevation of 1,212 meters. It ascends 780 meters over about 15 minutes, giving visitors a view of Mt. Gozaisho's seasonal natural scenery and the entirety of Ise Bay. The small red gondolas have a capacity of 8 to 10 persons, and a new gondola departs roughly once per minute.

Out of 36 gondolas in total, 10 have windows in their floors. Try to be one of the lucky passengers on those!
After the ropeway ascent, you will find Sanjo Park (a nature park) atop the mountain.
There are sightseeing lifts linking the east and west ends of Sanjo Park.
Visitors can also hike in Sanjo Park.
There is also an observation platform in Sanjo Park.
Or you can enjoy lunch at a cafe or the observation restaurant adjoining Cable Sanjo Station.
There is even a mont-bell outdoor goods shop by the station at the foot of the ropeway.
Take in a view of the blooming heath flowers that are native to the area.
When the weather conditions are right, the view can also be one of a sea of clouds.
In autumn, the foliage at the site can be gorgeous.
The mountain is even beautiful in the winter snows.
