Fascinated by the beautiful striped , we encountered Tokushima Blue.Pottery experience using ”handmade” and ”electric potter's wheel”
The "Seiran Kiln" (Indigo Kiln) is a ceramics kiln over a century in age located in a traditional Japanese home remodeled personally by second-generation artisan Toshiyuki Matsushita, for a quaint workshop where time flows slowly. It is noted for its distinct and refined works, utilizing indigo and navy blue glazes for accent colors. Their indigo pieces compliment both Japanese and western cuisine, with their beauty drawing out the flavor of the food. The experience plan involves simple hand-sculpting techniques that beginners can follow, and a separate ceramics experience using an electric potter's wheel.
