Eco Blue Tour Lake Biwa Adventure KAYAK!
The scenery of Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest freshwater lake, is truly breathtaking when viewed from a kayak. We invite you to join our adventure tour, which will take you paddling towards the “reed belt” of Lake Biwa, a vital habitat for wildlife and a key contributor to the lake’s water quality. This tour is a unique experience that allows you to get up close and personal with a variety of living things that call Lake Biwa home, including fish and birds that are found nowhere else in the world. As you paddle through the reed belt, your guide will provide you with information about the natural world and the importance of environmental conservation. After your tour, you can also enjoy craft experiences such as making a reed flute or LED lampshade using washi paper made from reeds. BBQ and special lunch boxes are popular choices for lunch on the tour.
