This famous okonomiyaki restaurant has been in business for over 60 years and is loved by locals and tourists alike.
Okonomiyaki throughout Japan started with the "Kasane-yaki / layered yaki” method and later, "Maze-yaki” method (baking the batter mixed with ingredients) appeared. This shop offers "Layered yaki".
In "layered yaki," the batter is first spread on a griddle, followed by cabbage, and then meat and seafood ingredients are placed on top. The dough is soft and fluffy, and the unique texture is irresistible. One of the pleasures of the restaurant is to observe the craftsmanship of the okonomiyaki being cooked on the large iron plate at the counter.
