Tsuinashiki in Myohoji
Tsuinashiki (a ceremony of driving out evil spirits) in Myohoji temple features devils’ dances in the background sound of conch shells and Taiko (Japanese drums). There are five dancers tied by ropes made of wisteria vine all over their bodies who wear white loincloth and white sash (for holding up tucked sleeves) made from cotton over linen black clothes.
