Kurobe-no Odoriko
The festival features a ritual dance in ancient style called “Furyu.” A total of eighteen boys form a group of ritual music and dancing. There are six dancers who beat larger drums, six dancers who beat Kakko (smaller drums), and six dancers who beat Sasara, a set of two types of sticks to sound a Japanese percussion instrument.
