A summer festival that shows off Awaji Island

At the Awaji Island Festival dance contest, even dance teams from Tokushima, the birthplace of awa-odori dancing, take part to put on fantastic dance shows. On the final night, a fireworks festival lights up the night sky with fiery blossoms that reflect against the ocean in a cascade of colors that draws the three-day festival to a close.
