Take the Shinki bus for 30 min from JR Himeji Station on the Sanyo Line (or from Himeji-jo Otemae bus stop) to Shosazan Ropeway terminal. Ride the Shosazan Ropeway for 4 min to Sanjo Station, then walk 25 min to the temple or take a minibus (round trip fee: ¥500) to Mani-den bus stop and walk 10 min.
