Visitors to Shigisan can stay overnight in a traditional Buddhist temple lodging, called Shukubo. The price varies according to the number of guests per room and includes two meals (traditional Japanese vegetarian or Kaiseki course), the chance to stroll a lantern-lit path and an opportunity to join in on morning prayers. A few monks can also speak English, but communication is generally not a problem.
