The Cycle Center Bicycle Museum in Sakai City, managed by a bicycle industry foundation, is Japan's one-and-only bicycle museum. On display are 300 actual bicycles, ranging from a replica of the world's oldest bicycle to the sleek, hi-tech machines that are used in today's Olympic Games. Visitors can learn abou the mechanism of brakes and gears through hands-on displays, and in the Daisen Park Bicycle Square, adjacent to the museum, visitors can also ride and experience replicas of the world's classic bicycles.
