Soba Noodle-Making Workshop (Soba Restaurant Haruki Teppen)
【Description】
This Shinonsen soba restaurant is situated at the "teppen (top)" of the Haruki Pass. The families in the nearby hamlet of Haruki have been making soba noodles from buckwheat for generations. The local variety is made from 100% buckwheat, with no "tsunagi," a kind of wheat-based flour. The noodles are aromatic and go down smoothly. In this workshop, you'll receive detailed instruction on how to knead, stretch, cut and boil the noodles. Even if you've never made noodles before, don't hesitate to join. The soba you make is sure to taste outstanding!
