【Description】
This sandy beach on a narrow strip of land called a tombolo is one of the great 100 shorelines of Japan. When it was part of Izushi Domain a few centuries ago, this area produced salt. Recently, the Salt Workshop has been using driftwood and other materials as fuel for an overnight activity program. Guests include elementary school groups.
