Site of Kitanosho Castle & Shibata Park

Reportedly, the keep of Kitanosho Castle, founded by samurai warlord Shibata Katsuie, once stood here. In addition to a bronze statue of him, the park contains a museum where visitors can learn more about this historical figure and the castle he had built.
