Founded in 1657, Daisho-ji Temple is home to two of the town's designated cultural properties: the statue of Ohara Fudo Myo'o, the protective Buddhist deity also known as the "Immovable," in the Fudo Hall, and the decorative recessed ceiling featuring numerous paintings of historical figures.
