Yamamoto Noh Theatre, Experience Noh on Osaka’s oldest Noh stage
Here you can experience Japanese classical theatre, "Noh", right next to landmarks including Osaka Castle and the Osaka Museum of History. The builder of Osaka Castle, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, was a great patron of Noh, and the art form lives on to this day. The spirit of the samurai lives on here. You can experience a range of things depending on the number of people and your budget, from viewing the beautiful Noh costumes and masks so beloved of the Shogun close up, to taking Noh lessons on the hallowed stage wearing tabi socks. You can even take photographs on the stage. It's an experience you won't find anywhere else.
