Washoku Home Cooking-Machiko-

Washoku Home Cooking Machiko offers cooking classes in which participants can experience preparing washoku (traditional Japanese food), instructed in English or simple Chinese based on the instructor’s experience as a Japanese language teacher overseas. Because the classes are held at the instructor’s home, participants can experience Japanese traditional culture that is closely connected with the everyday lives of Japanese people such as ordinary living landscapes, seasonal festivals, customs, and so on. Furthermore, she has completed Halal administrator training organized by the Japan Halal Association and offers Halal washoku classes for Muslim participants.
