A tonbodama is a glass ball with a unique pattern and a hole through it, named after its resemblance to a dragonfly's compound eye. This independent store is one of only two glass rod manufacturers in Japan, and allows you to enjoy making tonbodama, which is loved by Japanese through ages. Select the base colour and pattern, then it's off to the burner. Staff will provide guidance as you complete an original tonbodama, enjoying the colour-changing flame and the changing appearance of the glass as you work it. You can then keep the finished tonbodama as a key chain or strap.
