Mikuma Shrine

The exact date of this shrine's founding is unclear. In centuries past it was known by other names, such as "Shrine of the Three Branches of Sutras." Columnar joints of basalt are visible across the shrine grounds. In fact, they were used to lay the path leading up to the shrine.
