The south of Kyoto Prefecture is a famous Japanese tea growing region, and it is here that Uji tea is produced. The town of Wazuka is home to stunning views of tea fields, including the Ishitera tea plantations, which were the first to be registered as a Scenery Asset by the prefecture.
