Nishinomaru Garden
The Nishinomaru Garden of Wakayama Castle is located on the northwestern side of Mt. Torafusu, on top of which is the main castle keep. The kaiyushiki-style garden with its central pond was built in the early Edo period, and makes use of the inner moat to the east and a steep incline that leads to the Tsuruno Valley to the south.
