Oboke Gorge Sightseeing Pleasure Boat

Oboke Gorge Sightseeing Pleasure Boat

Last update

The Oboke Gorge is formed of metamorphic sandstone with a sandy schist surface. The rock has weathered to reveal a light blue-grey surface, but inside is a clear green color. The thick layers of this hard, sandy schist were bent into wave shapes. Cracks formed, and over time these eroded away to form the Oboke Gorge. From the pleasure boat, passengers can see the Ganrekihengan rocks up close, a national natural monument. This is the perfect opportunity to see the magnificent landscapes of the Oboke Gorge.
