Kobe Municipal Arboretum is located at the west of Rokko Mountains, it plants representative Japanese trees including Rokko Mountain and trees all over the world by country of origin (about 1,200 species and 500 foreign species).Enjoy the woods tour of Japan and the world while enjoying the sceneries such as flowers of early spring, fresh green of spring, hydrangea of rainy season, colored leaves of late autumn and winter grove and nature of the forest every season. Autumn in particular offers gorgeous scenes with around 3,000 maple trees of 38 varieties from across the world bringing unique color to the season. In the sports recreation zone on the north of arboretum, there is a large lawn area (3 hectares), which means that you can have a good day with recreation, forest bathing and nature observation.

[Access] Short walk from the Shinrinshokubutsuen bus stop on the #25 Kobe City Bus from JR Sannomiya Station (only in operation between April and November);
Free hourly shuttle bus from Kita-suzurandai Station on the Kobe Electric Railway
