Take a cruise along one of the most scenic stretches of coast on the Sea of Japan - Sotomo Scenic Cruise

Sotomo Arch is a sea cave situated on a rugged peninsula on the eastern edge of Obama Bay, Fukui Prefecture. Here, the land has been shattered by waves and gouged by the sea to form a dynamic and craggy landscape of cliffs and twisted rocky outcrops. After sampling the divine seafood in local restaurants and shopping for souvenirs in the harbor stalls, visitors can go on the 60-minute Sotomo Scenic Cruise to view the sea caves and towering cliffs of this wild stretch of coast. In 2019, CNN chose the Sotomo Arch as one of "Japan's 36 most beautiful places."
