The Rokko International Musical Box Museum stores and displays various musical boxes and other automatic musical instruments. As well as watching performances using antique musical boxes that are more than 100 years old, visitors can also take part in musical box assembly workshops to create their own unique instrument. In the museum garden, which matches perfectly with the nature of Mt. Rokko, visitors can relax in hammocks and on benches, while they can also sit back with a cup of tea in the museum’s Strauss café, which offers Viennese-style food. At Tone, the museum’s specialist musical box shop, there are a wide range of musical boxes for shoppers to choose from.
