Kurayoshi White Wall Storehouses

This area long flourished as a castle town and jinya-machi, or town around a feudal government building, and its white plaster-walled, red-tiled storehouses still remain to this day. The area has also been designated as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings by the Japanese government.
