Flowing right up out of the sea, this salted onsen has been noted for its skin beautification properties. The beach at this resort was selected as one of the top 100 beaches with white sands and green pines in Japan. It commands a splendid view of Mt. Daisen to the south, and a panoramic view of the blue Sea of Japan extends in front. The beach is a popular swimming beach in the summer, and visitors can enjoy both onsens and beach swimming in the same location. The ryokan inn district has space for around 4,500 guests, and is one of the largest in the San'in area.
