Nara National Museum
[A collection of Buddhist art masterpieces]
The museum was built in 1895 following the opening of the Tokyo National Museum. The main hall is an Important Cultural Property made of brick that is a famous example of European architecture in the Mid-Meiji (1868-1912) period.
