Menfudo Limestone Cave
This cave sprawls deep through an elevated section of land that offers great views of the Dorogawa region. It is one of the largest caves in the Kansai region and a cultural property of Nara Prefecture. Stalactites hang down from the domed ceiling with stalagmites reaching up from the floor. The diverse assortment of rock formations create a beautiful and magical underground palace. (Image provided by Tenkawa Village)
